I have found that Graphic Organizers work quite well as a creative mode of assessment. These can be used either as a culminating activity in a unit to test overall knowledge. The Graphic Organizer activity also works well in a Drama or Literary class as an activity to help students organize their thoughts and understandings on characters in both plays and assigned readings, completed periodically through the duration of the reading
