Josee's Resource #11: Lesson Plan Templates
Detailed lesson plan templates are always a must for proper lesson planning and organization. Although they are not direct assessment resources, they can be used to organize assessment strategies for each class. For example, knowing ahead of time whether a particular assignment is diagnostic or formative, makes it easier for me to keep track of my students' success. The Detailed Lesson Plan Template (above) is one of my favorites as it forces me to critically think about various important aspects of my lesson including success criteria, assessment types, teaching strategies, and more. The Lesson Plan Template (below), is also great as it complements the backwards UbD Template.
