Josee's Resource #1: Exit Cards

https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Exit-Slips-739477

An Exit Card (above) can be used as a consolidation activity where students provide feedback as to their understanding of the day's lecture.  In turn, the information collected on the exit card can be used by the teacher to further explain a misunderstood concept to the individual student, or the whole classroom. For example, I would use it in the SNC2D Chemistry unit such as when learning about naming ionic and molecular compounds as it is easy for students to misunderstand the logic behind this concept (and it is the basic knowledge needed to understand subsequent and more complex concepts).

Below is another version of a great Customizable Exit Card resource designed by www.ayleebits.com

  1. These look like a great resource for students to use to self-assess! Good work Josie!
